The 通往成功之路奖学金 has recently been updated.

Please read the following closely because criteria may have changed for this scholarship.

The 通往成功之路奖学金 is the most prestigious award at 内布拉斯加州医学 available to four 新 incoming undergraduate students per academic year. The 通往成功之路奖学金 is a competitive scholarship given to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. In addition to being our most academically talented students, Gateway to Success Scholars demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom and are leaders in their schools/工作场所 and communities.

内布拉斯加州医学 is a proud sponsor of the 通往成功之路奖学金 and is dedicated to fostering the growth and advancement of healthcare leaders through education and professional development.

奖学金的标准

  • 一定是。 新 student at PG电子APP and accepted into an associate or bachelor’s degree program prior to the scholarship application deadline. 学生每学期必须保持全日制状态.
  • 一定是第一代学生吧. 为了这个奖学金, first-generation is defined as an individual whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree or who resided with and received support from only one parent who did not complete a baccalaureate degree.
  • 优异的学业成绩，3分.高中平均绩点0或更高或3分.大学转学平均成绩不低于0分. 记录审查.
  • Must have demonstrated financial need (determined by current FASFA). Due to the recent delay with the deadline when schools will obtain required student FASFA information from the Department of 教育, the financial need requirement will be waived for the Fall 2024 semester.
  • Demonstrates values of compassion and caring through service to others. Applicants must submit a list of service hours completed and one contact person to verify hours if needed.

  • Demonstrated leadership through involvement in multiple school, 工作场所, 和/或社区活动. List years of contribution and leadership positions held.
  • Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation of their choice.
  • 完成一篇500字的文章, 双倍行距, and with a 12-point font in Times New Roman including the following information:
    • A brief introduction of who you are to the selection committee.
    • A brief reflection on how you have demonstrated values of compassion and caring through service to others (i.e., community and volunteer work, work/life experience, 等.).
    • A brief description of the challenges you have faced as a first-generation student and how you plan to impact your community positively as a healthcare professional.
  • 必须保持3分.每学期平均绩点0, 作为全日制学生继续注册, and be in good academic and behavioral standing to continue receiving the scholarship.

Scholarship applications are accepted February 1 – March 1 and must be emailed to the 金融援助 & 香港大学奖学金办事处  financialaid@hzjly.net 截止日期前. Applicants may submit reference letters with the completed scholarship application to financialaid@hzjly.net 或通过电子邮件发送给请求者 financialaid@hzjly.net.

奖励金额

A $15,000/year automatically re新able scholarship for four years toward a bachelor’s degree or two years toward an associate’s degree.
